Tears Of Acid

Down my cheek roll acid tears
they've been burning all these years
Scaring the streak now forever stained
I need help to ease that pain
Look deeper still, into my heart
it's been ripped and torn apart
beneath the surface, something lurks
I once found out nothing ever works
day by day I fill with sorrow
Why do I sometimes feel so hollow
