Favorite Quote:
If every night I go to sleep knowing/ That I gave everything that I had to give/Then it's all I could've asked for.

Trade fuller hips for a bigger smile
Make less of yourself to feel more of yourself
But I hear the rattling of bones
As you approach
Sense that glass hand waver
In form-fitting skin
See eyes flicker and fumble
For the golden-green pools
They once were
Have frozen over

In periphery
See a glimmer of a grin
Gone in an instant
Question if I ever saw
That lightning-smile
At all

Between spaces in time where
We meet, rhapsodies stand like
Latent heat; wood whittles
To the bone; matches burn
Blunt; watch those fire-trees
Shed snakeskin leaves

See what you saw
Signal your stranger’s reflection:
Delete her inches
Compound her insecurities
Petrify her fears

Is she happy?
Or hollow?
