Grandma’s Kitchen

I could imagine,
Grandma’s kitchen to feel like home.
The one place
Outside of the actual home,
That gives you this inviting feeling.
A feeling that fills your heart with warmth,
Your body with comfort,
And almost immediately,
Sets your mind at ease.
A happy place.
A comfort zone.
Where you can talk about anything
And everything,
Without feeling the judgement
Coming from the outside world.
A place that smells like happiness.
Like fresh scented candles,
That immediately make you
Forget everything.
And you want nothing more,
But to be in that moment.
