Explaining My Dyslexia to My Teacher 

Teacher, my dyslexia is a train it runs and runs but it dont works that good but most of the time i’m just trying very hard to not let it bother me but the only reason i can read now is because of my mom because she teached me how to read and i’m happy she teached me how to read because i wouldn’t be in this grade right now if it was for her

My teacher says, “But why don’t you just try harder?”

Teacher, i do but sometimes i get mad because i don’t know what the word is

My teacher says, “But if you just focused, everything would be okay!”

But teacher, you don’t get what i mean this reading problem is very hard where i just give up on everything

My teacher says, try and don’t give up and then you will get the hang of it

But teacher, i try not to give up but when i get mad i start crying and it’s just so irritating i wanna give up
