Love was once something so strong to me
Those feelings felt to me as if I was in heaven
Everything was so right in those two years
Now all that's left from the relationship is resin.

I had joy brought to me so often
We were absolutely crazy for each other
Many adventures and journey's we had
Everything that went on was around one another.

Traveling to the dunes was always my favorite
Riding four wheelers together on the sand
Staying back at the camper playing games
We were always together and nothing was ever bland.

Going fishing together was always great
Competing to see who's fish was bigger
Of course he would always win
But in the end I was the better worm rigger.

Laying there watching movies and cuddling
Knowing I had someone there for me
Arguing over which one to pick
And sometimes I got my way of watching Glee!

Somewhere everything went downhill
We argued a lot and things became difficult
He decided we had to go out own ways
And that made my life a little bit more critical.

At the end of the two years we spent
The feelings are had to let go
And I wish there was some other way
Than to be my first love's foe.
