Is a body unconscious a person still?
No mind is present to govern its deeds.
Does a body have dreams, or a fate to fulfill?
No way to feel it when it bleeds.
Can I be a human, too?
Maybe I’m not even real.
But I am flesh, through and through?
Scratch it up, then let it heal.
Or can a monster have a mind?
An evil thing, or weeping ghost.
Are living and breathing intertwined?
A being punished for its host.
With electrical thoughts, is it ever alive?
Just a skin, an empty shell.
Is the soul really needed for the body to thrive?
A carcass washed up on the shores of hell.

Wow. This poem really made me think about the meaning and the descriptive words. Its refreshing in an odd sort of way. Kind of cleanses the soul. The end left me wanting more yet satisfied me to say the least. Anyways, Great poem. Awesome writing skills and good use of vocabulary.

That...was...AMAZING!!!!!! It's so refreshing to actually have to use my brain to interpret a meaning for the poem. Most people make the meaning really obvious-which is fine, especially when trying to express emotions-but I LOVE being forced to THINK about a poem's meaning, and this certainly did make me think!

is absolutely amazing. You have a great way with words and I'm really gratefull for you writing it. I know you probably hate when people ask this, and honestly so do I, but could you maybe read my poems? only 'For you I am' is a good one, so could I get some constructive criticsm?

This is absolutely amazing.  There are so many ways you can take it.  It makes you think, and the flow is very good and the rhymes are simple, yet creative.

Wow. I've been writing poetry lately, and your poem reminds me of how I write, how I'd like to write. It is a very powerful piece, it feels to me that you're questioning reality and you twist it perfectly with your voice.
