Roses are red,
Violets are blue.
Keep the flowers,
What good will they do?

Petals say you love me,
It never works that way.
All I can do
Is sit patient for the day,

Where you'll feel a hole,
And wonder what you're missing.
You won't know what to do,
You'll be hoping, wishing,

For me to come back,
You'll regret what you said,
But the flowers you never gave
Will all be dead.
