Losing Sucks

It was a surprisingly sunny winter day
Warm enough for sweat pants.
Everything, normal as ever
I was at home relaxin’ if you may.
Then I got phone call...
Really bad news.
One close to my cousin and me.
I never thought she could fall.
It was a fatal accident,
How did that happen?
There’s no way it’ll be the same.
Four years earlier she lost a parent.
Some thought she was in the wrong,
But many will mourn.
We have to celebrate,
We love you Miss Bethany Ann Kavan.
