I'm floating on the fragrant breeze,
The scent of summer always is,
A hand in mine
Oh what a way to live.

The birds they sing to me to sleep,
I close my eyes and see,
A peaceful place I long to be,
But the sun is falling out to sea,

Soon night will envelope me,
I will be back again,
My bags unpacked, and yet alone...
Alone with all my friends.

They try to understand my frown,
But they don't know what to say,
To comfort my broken heart,
When its been shattered this way.

There is no telling when,
Or if I'll even heal,
From the blow to my soul,
That seems to be too real.

I dream to run away...
To pack my bags and leave,
...Never hurt anyone else again,
And perhaps they won't hurt me.

I once ran up to the clouds,
Took all my baggage there,
Talked with Judas for a while...
About how he'd gotten there...

But he told me not to follow,
The way he came to be,
He said to keep on moving,
That one day I'd be happy.

So now I wonder where I'll go,
Where can I escape this... nothingness...
The re-occurring pain of death,
Am I trapped in this?

I close my eyes and feel the sun,
I hear the waves upon the shore,
The birds sing to me and i am free...
But I am not free... not anymore.
