My hand upon your face
Caressing your cheek.
Seeing eye to eye
A chance encounter meet.

I close my eyes and wonder
How we got this far.
For five months we've known
As the door hung slightly ajar

Your head presses in
Our lips, they touch.
My hand in your hair
Enjoying it very much.

Your arms wrapped around me.
My eyes filled with tears.
Amazed that I could even
Overcome all those fears.

You wipe them away
And hold my face
Closer, we go
Into another embrace

For only five months
We've been this way.
Been together,
And together, we'll stay.
