Your Mistakes
My thoughts were crystal clear.
Your beautiful mistakes jump out at me.
Your beautiful mistakes changed me.
Your beautiful mistakes ruined me.
Your beautiful mistakes caused a disease that is
incurable.
I have counted 136 blemishes disregarded by my mind.
The inexplicable magnificence intoxicated the night,
I have counted the brightest gems.
I have counted the brightest memories.
I watched them crackle in the fire
of dazzling waves filled with possibilities, gone.
Completely swept under the rug.
These memories, gone.
But not forgotten
My thoughts were crystal clear.
When the sun comes out,
and the art of this moment works its way
into my mind,
"You were the most enchanting mistake of my life!"
I scream.
Your actions caused the most awful thoughts.
Thoughts that confessed that they were faulty,
but also caused power and joy in knowing
that I wholly changed in the meantime.
I am stronger.
