Imagine a poet on a hot summer’s day
Filling the pages with words of ink
Writing about kids going to the park to play
Just as soon as they get tired they get a drink
The sounds of scratching and scribbling
On the paper that’s tearing and ripping
The dream to one day be a famous star
Dream about when you were a kid and wonder who you are
Have you let yourself down
Or will you never have a frown
