Game Day
Game Day
I wake up at 5:30 (A.M.)
I can tell it’s gonna be a good day
I’m on my way to Searcy
To play in 4 softball games
The first two games were blowouts
The points accelerated one by one
We were the team to beat
But the next game was different
This one was a close one
Every second I held my breath
Finally we rallied and won by 3
We were in the championship game
My heart was racing and I was the pitcher
But I calmed down and my team had my back
We beat them easily and we were the champions
That’s why this day soars above the rest
