My feelings are released
like a bird from a cage
they turn into words
on the empty white page
feelings of depression
happyness, love, jealousy
are now out in the open
for everyone to see
when people wish to release
how they feel through pain
or cut their wrists
blood falling like rain
i know no need
to do such things
for my poetry rings out
as the free bird sings
so what you read is me
nothing less nothing more
my feelings to this page
they will start to pour
