There you are
Sitting over there
Eyes glittering
Words dripping
Lovingly.

One glance
One smile
Melts me away
Making everything alright
In the worst of days.

So excited
Anticipating the moment
Everything changes
The best time
of my life
Heaven.

Tears fall
A couple of words
Change everything
Your eyes, your smile
Gone forever
Lifting heaven away.

There you are
Walking past
A different person now
Than the one i knew
Never caring enough
To remember me.

The author's comments:
This is a really sad poem for me. Its about my best friend and someone who liked her. The out of the blue he decided he didnt anymore. It was really sad. This poem describes what it was like exactly and everytime I read it I start crying. He was really nice and sweet and I thought that he was going to be a different kind of guy but he is just like all of the others. I needed a way to describe it so i wrote this poem about the whole ordeal and what he did to her.
