Its taken four years to feel glad,
not miserable or sad;
Its taken four years to feel accepted,
not alone and rejected;
Its taken four years to find a friend,
to feel like it isn't the end;
Its taken four years to feel right,
four years to find the light;
Its taken four years to finally blend,
but now its time to begin, again.
