May the waves of indifference ebb and recede
Mankind expose itself to the tranquility of the seas
Bound by shackles of disregard and neglect
Confined horizons; man, come out of the nets
Oceans polluted, trees cut down,
When would you realise it’s the beginning of the countdown
Open your eyes and look what you’ve done
Ruined the life of your great grandson?
Resources must we conserve
Give the nature’s bounty respect and love
Plant a sapling, don’t let water flow,
For mighty oaks from little acorns grow
Imagine what it would be like
In the ideal world with standards so high
Wake up from the dream and face reality
It is high time, people, protect the sanity
Let the birds fly, flowers bloom, and rain pour
As it trickles down gentle and pure
Bound by shackles of disregard and neglect
Mankind, struggle out of the confines of the net
Woven by polluted thoughts and corrupt minds
Poisoned strings that cut so sharp
Of the degrading environment and cutting the wood bark
