I walk a lonely road
The only one I’ve ever known
You think you know how this story goes
But no one ever truly knows
The future is a mystery and none shall see
What will happen; what’s to be
We always hope to know what’s next
Is that truly what is best?
What if it’s a world full of pain and hate
But what if it’s a world that’s amazing and great?
Maybe we should wait for what’s to occur
Because what’s going to happen is going to happen and that’s all we can know for sure
