-Bluer Skies-

Living life, Day after day.
Just learning the meaning of another day's work.
round every corner,
shadows of our doubt lurk.
What Remains?
We've grown older?
Nothing is different, all is still.
Death approaches from over the hill
pursuing the pursuers of dreams,
sucking life from everything.

Red turns to black.
we grow old and die.
life fades to black,
black as the nights eternal sky.
one day we wake and find
that our lives have gone
leaving our souls behind
faded away like midnight dreams
and nothing is what it seems.

Obscured hues of purple and blues
disintegrated into the nothingness where I belong.
the night has turned to day,
I can not stay.
the journey has been long
I bid farewell.
I am just a nomad without a dream.
A wanderer obscene.
since nobody knows
of the eight years of torture and lies,
where do you expect me to go?
I'm just in search for bluer skies.

"This will certify that the above work is completely original."
