They sit side by side on the shore
Watching the waves roll in and out
Stealthily, she reaches for his hand
He turns to look at her
She turns to look at him
His sapphire eyes are alive with new energy
They stare at each other under cloudless blue
All problems are forgotten in the calm
The calm of quiet afternoon
As the tide creeps in
She rolls up her jeans
Away from the cool waters
The reflection of the sun on the cerulean mirror
Reminds the two of the hour
They walk off, hand in hand
Into the azure horizon
