After the Play
On the 6th of April 2014
The play Mirror Image had ended
To the Green room we went to change
As families stood like a forest outside the closed doors
We all talked,
Laughed,
And cried
I had to run from the changing room to the cafeteria in a dress I borrowed from an alum for the celebration
I reflected on the day during the three days of the play where my crush found out how I felt
I was really shy around him for the rest of the days
You said that you wanted to dance
That you cared about me
And what I remember the best is Hanna and I dancing in the gym as the only girls in dresses
