Everything That Could Go Wrong

Here I go,
I know I should try,
But I could crash,
Since that wave is too high.
I can do this,
I can take the leap,
But I could drown,
Since this water's too deep.
I've got this,
It should be easy,
But I could flip over,
Since the wind is too breezy.
I'll go this time,
I promise, I swear,
But I could get hurt,
Since there's a rock over there.
I can surf,
I won't turn away,
But I could end up dead,
Nope. Not today.
