A King
He was a king in their eyes
however their eyes were his own
But their view was not known
And their faith was not shown
A king had a milestone
But his ego had overgrown
And the followers, he had not known
Were ready to stone
A king was alone
He had no worries on the throne
But the followers unsewn
Had arrived with a gravestone
A king overthrown
From the rebels, fully grown
If he had a wish from a wishbone
He would be a king on his own
A King threw away his throne
