Scarred

You catch me
No matter how hard I fall
You keep me alive
My life is yours in more than debt
You accept only to repay
A thousand times more
Yet you save me again
Bruises and scratches leave their marks
But never am I broken

Deceiving

The truth sets some free
But leaves other empty
Lets one have relief
While the other has unending grief
Honesty got a good reputation
But does it really lead to salvation?
Which is worth more?
Avoiding pain or remaining pure?
The truth lied to me
And a liar's all it shall ever be

Favorite Quote:
“God, of your goodness, give me yourself; you are enough for me, and anything less that I could ask for would not do you full honour. And if I ask anything that is less, I shall always lack something, but in you alone I have everything”

I found this a little hard to read. it lacked flow for me. and did you mean scared, scarred, or sacred? lol it was a little confusing for me.
