At night
Scared and afraid
My dog was dying
Didn´t know what to say
I prayed she would live
I prayed for hours
My stomach started turning
Through all those hours
The dream of her living
Was so far away
The lethargic little dog
Could not stay awake
Watching her life
Go in a flash
All the memories pass
As they danced in my head
Reluctant to believe my angel has passed
With tears in my eyes
My heart broke in half
