Be Yourself

Could anything be worse
Than hiding your face
While letting someone completely different
Take your place

You are scared and fearful
Of what others might think
But the more you do that
Your confidence will shrink

Don't keep your anger
Bunched up inside
For that will only
Destroy your pride

True love
will never befall you
If you aren't yourself
Happily-ever-after won't be true

So just take some time
And be who you are
Because if you don't
Your real self will be afar
