Skate Park
It was a early sunny morning in Benton Harbor.
I went to the skate park and over to the ramps.
They were enormous
I wanted to try them out.
My skateboard was blue and white
with green wheels.
It was a long board
it moved as fast as the speed of light.
The ramps towered 15ft tall over me and
were frightening.
As I stood on the top of the ramp
It seemed like I could see for miles.
I was listening to music.
I got on my longboard and
went down the ramp.
I ZOOMED! down it and
Crashed straight on my arm.
Then I got back up and
attempted the other ramp.
The other ramp was 2 or 3 ft tall
It wasn’t that frightening.
I went down a tiny bit
faster than before.
But then I fell off and
hurt my knee.
It was excruciating!
When I got home
I wrapped on a bandage.
I couldn’t walk for 3 days.
Next time I go to the skate park,
I will wear a helmet,
knee pads, wrist pads, and
elbow pads!
