Watching the News
I sit and watch TV
I see camouflaged soldiers and armored tanks
I hear the explosion as the first bomb falls
I sense the rage and hate driving them all
I watch TV, thousands of miles away
This is the war that's never won
This is the struggle that's never over
Until all greed and power and corruption explodes
In the rain of bomb, once aimed at innocence
And showers the world with its ashes
Finally defeated
But until the day comes,
When all the world explodes with love
And the only missiles are fireworks of freedom
And soldiers of war are heroes of peace
I'll sit and watch the news
Waiting for the explosion
