Shoestring

The scrape of his shoe.
The shoestring draging the ground.
Like a dog following its owner.
Making the slightest of lines in the dirt.
It reminded me of life.
Life is a shoestring.
Life looks good but its all over the place.
Life can come apart with one wrong move.
Life is together yet it isn't.
Just like a shoestring where everyone ties a little different.
In life everyone is different.
Everyone has a diffferent way of doing things.
A different way of tying their shoes.
