Rust
You love me, this I truly understand
The laughter we sing when we're together
My deepest soul has been held in your hands
It is brighter than springs, sunny weather
When do you awake from the Sandman's spell?
Do just that many a sleepy morning
Dreaming of me-a joy you've often held
You just left me with no hate to warn me
Again, I pray we haven't locked loves door
Takes courage to change our unhappy days
The lost key will rust with each tear I pour
Hopefully it doesn't end that sad way
There is no evil in our emotion
So we shall keep showing true devotion.
