escape this town for only a moment
fly free,little butterfly,
go to the field
that you love so much
run free,little butterfly,
run from here
be free
walk through the grass
breath in the sweet air
no burdens to bear
fly through the air to freedom
no cages
to hold you,
no fears
to kill you,
fly free,little butterfly,
be free forever more
no more cages
no more burdens
be free and fly,
if only for a moment.
