No Idea
You need more than anything
To know how to move on,
To know when things are over,
To know when to loosen your grasp
And leave those things behind you.
But don't disregard those things.
Now they are a part of your past,
Whether you liked it or not.
Don't neglect it.
Don't hold onto it.
Memories, toys
Friends, family.
If you hold, you would be
Stuck in the past, no time for a future.
If you neglect, you would be
Ignoring a part of yourself, and who you can be.
You need
More than anything
To balance out your past
To know who you are now
And in the latter.
To make sure
That when you are recognized
You are recognized
By your Past,
Your Present,
And by your Future,
Together.
