Chicken Soup

Music is chicken soup for the soul.
When my heart's in two it makes if feel whole.
Slow songs, fast songs, some songs are wrong,
Can't go without it for very long.
In times of darkness it gives me light,
Like a soaring eagle in majestic flight.
Soothing my nerves before the first date,
Blink-182 makes me believe this is fate.
Music is chicken soup for the soul.
