Harrowing Deamons

"We build cathedrals to our pain
Establish monuments to attain
Freedom from all of the scars and the sins
Lest we drown in the darkness within"
Darkness within- Machine Head
Harrowing Demons;
Long days turn to eternity's night
Void of hope and light
'Tis to no avail that I fight
The abyssal plain within.
Closer comes the devil
Accepting sin,
Absolution for desires from within.
Lusting for asylum
In what shouldn't begin
Weaker I grow, the demons gain
As her fire fades, in dark I remain.
