Tomorrows solder
Tomorrow's solder
Today just a boy,
Tomorrow a trained soldier
Draped in green.
He lethargically walks thru
The foggy jungle,
Stalking his prey.
As he nears
He feels the destruction,
The destruction he fears.
When he is in range
He remembers yesterday,
He remembers the boy.
Just as reality appears,
So does a pain
Unimaginable pain through his body.
Finally as he lies there,
Peace falls over him
And he is just a boy,
Tomorrow's soldier.
