Two people brought together by numbers
Sloppily written on a napkin (wrapper)

Simply one customer and one waiter,
Destined to be much more

Although first intentions were "different"
What was meant to be found its own way

At one point she thought there was no hope
But always knew one day he may

In his eyes she was nothing more than a young child
Immature, foolish, and naive

Watching '23', smiling, feeling absolutely beguiled
In the basement of a stranger she had the kiss she had been waiting for

Then came time for their first date, nothing special
Or out of the ordinary, but that night meant the world to one girl

Just a few months have passed
Every kiss they share her heart whirls

When she is in his arms it is as if the whole world stops
A simple kiss on her forehead marks the spot he holds in her heart

He pulls her close and kisses her under the starry night sky
She gazes at the stars in awe of their beauty; he does the same, however he stares into her eyes

Through his eyes she has achieved perfection
And a bond that two people share is simply a work of art

One who does not believe in fate
Has yet to find theirs
