I Cannot Wear my Heart on my Sleeve
I cannot wear my heart on my sleeve
It just does not come that easy for me
Being that open with your emotions is just naive
My heart is secured under a complex lock and intricate key
Or so I thought, but one guy made me think different
That one day my 'so-called' prince came
And I had a lapse in judgement
Infatuated with him I became
How could I be so dumb?
Of course he's just another guy
Jerk, pervert, moron, player, scum
Thought he was genuine but he was just being sly
Played with my heart like a sick, twisted joke
Now my trust is up in smoke
