And I say,

My past says,
"This might work."
My present says,
"Come back to me."
My future says.
"I don't know what you're thinking."
And I say,
"I'm living in the the present."

My friends say,
"I'm happy for you."
My best friends say,
"I'm behind you 100%."
My classmates say,
"I don't care what you do."
And I say,
"This is why they're my best friends."

I'm going with my heart.
I'm living in the present.
My friends are next to me.
