Just little enough to walk around
behind you.
Wondering and waiting to see where you would go.
I went and learned form you.
Just little enough to speak to you, like a kid on their 1st day
of school.
Hoping and listening to understand and comprehend.
I went and learned from you.
Just a little girl who is excited to go with you, like a kid
on Christmas day.
Thinking and wondering what you would do.
I went and learned form you.
Just a teenager who wanted nothing to do with you.
Hoping and praying you would leave me alone.
But this time I lost you.
Just a man who changed and shaped my life.
Steering and leading me in the right direction.
Is now in heaven looking down upon me.
