With little wings
Of differing hue
The bird chorus sings
their songs to you

And with changing pitch
And different tones
They never ditch
Their rhythmic moans.

High and low
Up and down
Fast and slow
And mixed around

The song they sing
With a quavering chain
Always brings the
Same refrain

Then the chorus of birds fade away
to join the songs of yesterday.
