Poetry Contest Entry #47

Mood highlights the unknown

The unknown harbors our greatest desires

This color of pen is becoming painstakingly boring

My cursive is barely legible

Therefore, I am pronounced the winner

If not by default, then by what else?

Or as my art teacher would say 'Hwat else'?

Age is just a number

However, number is not age

For collagen injections are our lovers

When we are feeling unwanted we sneak off

To sleep with them

Which leads to our exterior becoming as real as

Last year's Barbie'

She could never love again- she

waved

Her WHITE FLAG

'Please don't take him even though you can' says she

Says the voice of a loser

Awesome. My favorite of all your work. Funny, sarcastic, satirical -you had it all! By the way, the spacing DOES make it cooler-couldn't have happened in a better spot.

There's not supposed to be that big space...
