I'm practically all alone here
in this cruel thing we call life
I feel like a deer
frozen in headlights.
It is but a mere race
to see who has the most
and who has the best looking face
before we turn into ghosts.
I can't find a job
I'm pretty much broke
I'm stuck in a fog
this all seems like a joke.
but at least I have you
to cheer up my life
and whatever you do
please don't stop being nice.
'cause if i didn't have you
I'd never get by
but i can always get through
with you by my side .
