The screaming waves
and roaring wind,
mixed with the rhythm
of my continuous spin,

Creates a pulse
of sheer depth and power.
Twas the heartbeat of God,
but I didn't cower.

I savored the moment.
Woave the beat into my soul.
Became one with the wind,
for a moment felt whole.

But when the spinning stopped,
I sat upon the ground.
Searched for someone to listen,
but no one was found.

The beauty of the beat
I needed to share!
But foolish I would look,
for no one seems to care.

"A silly one she is.
Builds castles in the sky."
But who the heck cares,
if I have the knowledge to build them by.

Life is a journey
not a race.
Take time to be pure,
don't veil your face.

Smell the flowers,
lie in the grass,
sing to the ocean,
kiss the lass.

Go pick apples,
spin by the sea,
love your life,
hug a tree.

Listen to the dreamers,
we know more than you.
Trust me, just listen!
You could know peace too.

Thanks so much for the feedback :) Glad to know I'm not the only one who feels this way about the world :)

I absolutely adore this. It make you feel a sort of oneness with nature and dreams, a true tribute to those of us who walk around with our hands in our pockets and our heads in the clouds. Thank you for your comment!
