The pale waning moon
shines off the lake
I lay here
Whispering secrets of the
world into my ear,
the trees curl their long,spindle
fingers at the sky.
Time passes dreadfully slow
in my concealed darkness
Always wishing my time will never end
in my own personal 'happy place'

The author's comments:
I would just like the readers to understand that the 'happy place' is in my mind. Its the only place where I truly find tranquillity.

I really loved this one too but I seem to get this vibe that your poems are very dark and I love that!!!

wow, that was amazing, Bobbie! i love all your poems; you know that, right? you're much beter at that kind of stuff than me, since i can't make a poem without trying to make it rhyme. XD that's why i'm better at songs and stories. love you, Bobbie! keep going! ^_^
