Opened Eyes
Opened eyes,
An arm wrapped around my neck.
My attention drifted from the steady beat
that quietly sang in the background.
My head felt warm but my hands freezing cold.
I tasted a flavor so fresh
I had to catch my breath
but refused to look away and forget.
A whisper in my ear tugged at me
pushing me deeper and deeper down into the nights floor.
Cold hands,
smooth cheeks,
just a beginning.
This first night closing my eyes
pulling me away like a magnetic force.
My mind drifting and smiling
not exactly sure what to think.
