The Closet

I am claustrophobic in this tight space,
Justin trapped me in here again,
Kids think it's all fun and games until it actually happens.
Living with Justin is the worst, I thought he was a nice guy.
Most people think we're a great couple but we're not,
People don't understand how hard it is to live like this.
Quiting is not an option because he wouldn't let me go.
Resting my eyes is difficult when he's around.
Sometimes he treats me like a human being,
Though often times he treats me like an animal.
Under the pressure he puts on me it stresses me out.
Venom courses through his body like blood.
Walls are closing in on me as pressure keeps building.
'Xtreme measures of safety has been forced upon him.
Yet they don't work when I'm around him.
Zoo animals and I are being treated the same way.
After I search for a way out of the closet,
Because this man is not who I thought he was.
Clumsily I search for a way out of the closet.
Decreasing my chances of being detected,
Even though he will find me eventually,
Finally I find my way out of this closet.
Good thing I found a key on the floor.
How could I let this happen.
I'm going to leave him forever.
