Choose to Fall

Empty words fill a hollow chest
Listen closely you'll here them beat
Lips form lies, mouths tell tales
Follow your heart and you'll be let down

Vision impaired by heavy lids
Help me see clearly
Whats reality and whats fake
Help me second guess everything I'm told
Trusting too easy will leave me open and scarred

Believe now and calm down
Relax and look back
Accusations will lead to nothing
People won't leave
No more war will be raged
A white flag in a smoky field
A shot rings out, I see red

Leave it all behind, look forward
Doubts and questions stop clouding thoughts
Jump from the rooftops and maybe you'll fly
Instead of crashing to the ground

Wide awake, anticipating it all
Breathe deep and take a look around
People won't always deceive
Where there's loss there's love
With anger there's joy

Believe now and calm down
Relax and look back
Accusations will lead to nothing
People won't leave
No more war will be raged
A white flag in a smoky field
A shot rings out, I see red

The storm cloud still refuses to leave
It hurts to look back, to remember
A daunting scene looms ahead
I take the leap I might soar
I choose to believe
I might crash, I might burn
I will fall

Believe now and calm down
Relax and look back
Accusations will lead to nothing
People won't leave
No more war will be raged
A white flag in a smoky field
A shot rings out, I see red

I might crash,I might burn
I will fall once I believe again
