Eyes!
those horrible twins i despise
over the many years they have caused nothing but pain
for the tears i carry can fall like rain

Not open yet have the floodgates been
for it is still damming up the lake within
The dam of tears, by sadness it was made
for anything, it, i would trade

A thousand tears to cry
O, how i wish i would die
around the town i wander
upon dark thoughts i soon ponder

My soul, filled with grief and woe
has turned into a terrible foe
fear within me,and darkness out
about my survival i begin to doubt

My internal struggle, forever has been fought
surely win, i will not
the tides of battle swiftly change
my defeat, at point blank range

The floodgates soon begin to break
letting out their salty lake
my soul from there, then outcried
about my feelings i have lied

over those things i now weep
soon reduced to counting sheep
towards sleep i go
for what reason, i don't know
