Where the Earth Stands Still

Always flowing
Never ending
Falling and falling
Into the morning sun
Splash, splash

The hushed roughness of the water
Curving through the soft daylight
The calm stream forming a river
The rough river forming a raging waterfall
Splash, splash

Falling from the sky
Into the colorless pit
Cutting through the sapphire waves
Like a dagger wounding skin
Splash, splash
