When I was first born

When I was first born:


I was a blessing for my parents.

At two:


I was mischievous and rumbustious.

By the time I hit six:


I was a non-stop chatter box.

When I was twelve:


I started the beginnings of good friendship.


Right Now:


I am discovering the world as it is.

Everybody thinks:


I am reserved and quiet.

But really:


I am the same chatter box I was when I was six, times ten.

When I am twenty-five:


I want to have achieved my goals in life.

When I am in charge:


I will feel confident and be able to take on the world.
